Bollywood actress Lara Dutta has been in the Indian news for her recent marriage to tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi. This was one one of the most high profile weddings of the year, and Lara's wedding jewelry was up to the occasion. She wore an uncut diamond necklace set studded with vilandis, rose-cut diamonds, round diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and pearls with maang-tika to her Sangeet ceremony at Candolim in the seaside resort of Goa.
This necklace made a lovely complement to the marigold-colored lehenga she wore that was designed by Manav Gangwani. The party was only for close friends and family of the bride. 200 guests also attended the grand wedding reception at a five star hotel near Sinquerim beach in Goa. For her Christian style Victorian wedding, Lara wore a very classy and elegant diamond necklace and earrings.

The famous Dallas vintage jewelry boutique Rue de Reves closed 15 years ago, but a newly launched jewelry line called Bella Rose is now paying homage to the store's inspired designs. Bella Rose was founded by the daughter-in-law of Rue de Reves founder Margaret Morris. The exclusive line of handcrafted pieces by Tami Morris mirrors the exceptional European collections once carried by Rue de Reves, as well as the vintage jewels and holy medals that once belonged to Morris' late mother.
The jewelry is museum quality, and incorporates either medals from her mother's collection or vintage medals of European origin, many that are over a hundred years old. Her sister Katy is her partner in creating the nostalgic pieces, and the line is truly a family affair as it is named after Tami's two daughters, Bella and Rose.

For those guys that want to give an eco-concious gift for Valentine's day, consider vintage jewelry. By giving vintage jewelry, including estate jewelry, you're not only saving money but you're not using new materials. It is a great way to show concern for the planet while also staying 'au currant' and very fashionable. There are some boutiques and websites specialising in vintage jewelery.
For instance, you can go online to vvintage90210.com for a dazzling array of vintage designer costume jewelery. The owner used to have a brick and mortar store in Beverly Hills, V Vintage, which she has since closed. But her online selection is huge, and includes some pieces that date back to the 30s. Another cool thing about vintage jewelery is that it usually has a great back-story, like the jewellery at V Vintage from the personal collection of dancer and actress Ann Miller.
