New Collection Inspired by Vintage Jewelry Designs

British model and singer Karen Elson is branching out in her career once again, as the is now also a designer thanks to a collaboration with Nine West. Elson has designed a limited edition collection of vintage jewelry, handbags and shoes for t he Nine West Vintage America Collection for fall.
The line will feature pieces with the kind of vintage feel that has marked Elson's personal style over the last decade. She said it has been a dream of hers to design a collection that reflected her personal idea of beauty. The Vintage America Collection was launched by Nine West in 2009, and since that time the brand has worked with Miranda Lee Richards and Joss Stone as well. Elson worked closely with the Nine West creative director Fred Allard, which was inspired by images from the 1930s and features T-strap wedges, velvet laced boots, ladylike handbags and vintage charm jewelry.
